Dr. Beaulieu diagnoses and provides ongoing care for both simple and complex heart conditions and defects. We serve patients ranging from infancy to eighteen years of age, but also provide examinations for expectant mothers for whom potential cardiac conditions in their child may be a concern.
Our services are aimed at assessing symptoms that may be related to heart conditions and determining whether or not a heart condition is indeed the cause. Symptoms that prompt examination include, but are not limited to, murmurs, chest pain, fast heart rate, fainting, or a family history of heart conditions.
Subsequent to diagnosis, Dr. Beaulieu provides a variety of treatments for the condition. These treatments include arterial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, transposition of the great arteries, hypoplastic left heart syndrome, and tetralogy of fallot (TOF). In addition, we also treat and provide follow-up care for Kawasaki Disease, the leading cause of heart disease in children not born with a heart condition.
The tests we administer will depend on your child’s symptoms and the results of their examination. Examining your child may include the following tests:
- Fetal Echocardiogram
- Event Recorder
- Exercise Testing
